DS-TCG406-E - 4MP Access LPR Camera

The Hikvision DS-TCG406-E is a 4 MP high-definition intelligence access Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) camera designed to automate security and gate operation at vehicle entry and exit checkpoints. It features a large 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor, flexible motorized vari-focal lens choices (2.8–12mm or 8–32mm), 4 integrated dual-purpose LEDs (White Light and IR), and a robust localized memory core capable of managing an on-board database of up to 100,000 blocklist and allowlist entries. Utilizing specialized exposure control for tricky front or backlighting, it captures multi-frame recognition metadata to easily read dirty license plates, detect vehicle type, identify body color, and log car branding. To maximize gate traffic flow, the camera incorporates built-in relay terminals to trip barrier gates directly even working in a completely offline allowlist mode paired with an intelligent vehicle flow algorithm that locks the gate in a temporary "normally open" mode during continuous convoy passing to avoid wear and tear on the barrier motor
