How to choose a barrier gate

Opening speed. 1–3 seconds for busy commercial entrances, 3–6 seconds for residential and low-volume lots.
Arm length. Measure the full lane width. Straight arms cover most lanes; folding and articulated arms suit low ceilings.
Duty cycle. Match the motor rating to daily traffic. Under-rated units are the first thing to fail in a busy garage.
Integration. Pair the gate with plate-recognition cameras, loop detectors, radar and access controllers for a full parking system.
