How an off-grid deployment works

A solar panel and battery pack sized for the load and the season. Plan roughly three times the nominal draw to cover camera heaters, winter nights and reboots.

4G where there is coverage, satellite where there is not. Traffic runs through a firewall over an encrypted VPN to the cloud.

Cameras, radar and a PoE switch in a weatherproof enclosure on a trailer or telescopic pole.

Footage and plate data land in a dashboard your team logs into. Search by plate, time or vehicle, and export anything.

Can cameras run on a site with no electricity?
Yes. Solar cameras carry their own battery; larger kits run from a solar panel and battery bank. Size the array for about three times the nominal load, and choose cameras with heaters rated to -40 °C for winter starts.

Most sites use 4G, either built into the camera or through a site router. Remote sites use a satellite uplink. Either way, traffic is routed through a firewall over an encrypted VPN.

Yes. LPR and panoramic cameras at the entrance log every vehicle with a timestamp, recognise plates and truck markings including USDOT numbers, count entries and exits, flag repeat visits and export the data.

What happens when the site moves to the next phase?
Equipment is mounted on poles or trailers so it can be relocated. The hardware is yours; the software subscription simply continues at the new position.
