The Hikvision DS-MDS001/2T(MCW407) is a high-performance 8-port desktop dock station pre-configured with 2 TB of baseline storage, customized specifically to support the secure charging, data offloading, and automated management of DS-MCW407 series body cameras. Equipped with dual 1000 M Gigabit network interfaces, the station automatically reads each docked camera's internal metrics (including system time, date, and product serial number), copies and uploads the footage, and safely clears the camera’s edge storage to prepare it for the next shift. The station features built-in log management, local playback controls for video, audio, and images, and secure data protection loops—utilizing Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) to prevent packet loss during uploads and a smart cyclic overwriting system that automatically cleans out the oldest files according to your storage timeline if space runs low.
