The Hikvision DS-2CD6D82G2-IS is a rugged, dual-directional PanoVu network camera that houses two independent 4 MP sensors to deliver a combined 8 MP high-definition output, allowing a single unit to monitor two separate fields of view using only one network cable and IP address. Available in either a wide-angle 2.8mm configuration for close-range coverage or a narrow 4mm configuration for enhanced distance detail, its internal independent lenses can be manually adjusted along a 3-axis track to easily secure opposing directions, such as T-junctions, building corners, or long perimeters. To ensure clear performance under challenging conditions, it integrates independent 2-channel True WDR to balance harsh backlighting, high-efficiency H.265+ video compression to sharply reduce required network bandwidth, and a built-in microphone for real-time audio security.
