DS-KAD706Y-SP - Two Wire Distributor

The Hikvision DS-KAD706Y-SP is a 2-wire IP sub-distributor designed to expand retrofitted intercom networks by routing high-speed digital network signals over existing, legacy two-wire cables. Functioning as an expansion module within a larger ecosystem, this DIN-rail mountable hub features six dedicated 2-wire cascade interfaces, two module-to-module cascade links to tie into master distributors, and an RJ-45 Ethernet port for main network bridging. Unlike its master counterpart, it is engineered without onboard device power delivery circuitry, meaning it handles purely data expansion while relying on upstream components or a direct 24VDC input to pass along signals. Complete with eight diagnostic LED indicators and a physical reset button, it allows installers to scale up 2-wire IP systems across larger, multi-floor buildings without ripping out old building wires.
