Description
The Schneider Electric TM221CE16R is a commercial-grade Modicon M221 logic controller engineered for high-reliability machine automation and system orchestration. This line-powered PLC operates on a 100V to 240V AC input supply while managing 24V DC digital inputs, 0 to 10V DC analog inputs, and flexible relay outputs capable of switching up to 250V AC or 125V DC. It features a dedicated physical Run/Stop switch, an onboard cartridge extension slot, a high-capacity SD card slot, and a standard USB programming port for rapid configuration. Out of the box, it delivers a versatile array of 16 digital I/Os—comprising 9 discrete inputs and 7 robust relay outputs—backed by an integrated Ethernet port and a serial line interface. For large-scale or multi-device deployments, the controller features native physical compatibility to daisy-chain with Modicon TM3 expansion modules, allowing seamlessly configured local, remote, or distributed I/O architectures.
