The Hikvision HikCentral-L-Upgrade/Module is a HikCentral Lite to HikCentral Professional System Upgrade License. It bridges entry-level or mid-tier systems into an enterprise architecture by converting all existing HikCentral Lite (or HikCentral L) device licenses into fully functional HikCentral Professional channels. Rather than forcing a complete system wipe and repurchase, this migration module allows administrators to seamlessly transfer all local databases, recorded histories, and device configurations over to the advanced VMS platform. Once applied, it eliminates Lite-tier channel constraints, unlocks upper-tier software features—including GIS Google Maps integration, Digital Evidence Management lockers, and advanced health monitoring history—and bundles a 3-year Software Support Program (SUP) for ongoing version updates. An active and running HikCentral Lite (HikCentral L) Base System is a strict software prerequisite before this migration and conversion key can be applied to the server network.
