The DS-K2220X is an enterprise-grade, master elevator access controller manufactured by Hikvision to manage and restrict vertical floor access within high-rise buildings. Delivered as a pre-assembled hardware kit containing a master mainboard and a lockable metal cabinet with a built-in switching power supply, this robust controller manages massive local storage database profiles for up to 50,000 users, 100,000 physical cards, 30,000 fingerprints, and 300,000 offline event logs. The controller manages custom floor permissions for up to 128 structural stories, utilizing dual uplink communication channels via wired TCP/IP and RS-485 to connect with master security management systems while supporting downstream connections for two separate Wiegand or RS-485 card readers. For compliance with localized structural safety rules, the mainboard incorporates integrated physical input interfaces to link directly with one emergency override button, one fire alarm release button, one manual maintenance switch, and two chassis tamper-detection sensors.
