The DS-K170HPK is an industrial-grade, mullion-mount proximity reader and keypad combination manufactured by Hikvision as part of the Pyramid Proximity Series. Housed in a compact, IP67 weatherproof casing measuring 45 mm × 155 mm × 23 mm (1.78" × 6.1" × 0.91"), this slim device is engineered with a narrow profile specifically optimized for mounting directly onto metal door frames, window mullions, or flat perimeter walls. Operating at a low frequency of 125 KHz, it features built-in Read-Range Boosting Technology to capture contactless RFID credentials up to 5 inches away, an integrated backlit 12-button mechanical keypad for secure PIN entry, and an audible status beeper.
