DS-K1105EDB/EDKB - Pro Card Reader

The DS-K1105EDB and DS-K1105EDKB are premium, high-speed Pro Series access control readers manufactured by Hikvision to provide flexible, contactless credential validation at building entry points. Available in two distinct hardware configurations—the DS-K1105EDB which features a flat front panel without a physical keypad for badge-only entry, and the DS-K1105EDKB which integrates an interactive mechanical keyboard for PIN or multi-factor authentication—both models combine dual internal antennas to natively support low-frequency 125 KHz EM proximity cards alongside high-frequency 13.56 MHz MIFARE (M1) and DESFire smart cards. Each reader features a built-in status buzzer, support for online firmware upgrades, a tamper-proof switch, and flexible multi-protocol uplink options including traditional Wiegand (W26/W34), standard RS-485, and secure OSDP loops. Additionally, both units incorporate an advanced occlusion detection sensor that, when combined with an internal Bluetooth module, enables a completely touchless "wave-to-open" function for users carrying smartphone credentials.
