The HikMicro HM-TD1018-1/QR is an advanced thermal presence detector equipped with an ultra-wide 1 mm thermal lens and a 160 × 120 resolution sensor, explicitly optimized for patient safety and fall prevention in elderly nursing home bedrooms. It features a built-in radar to support highly reliable fall detection alongside specialized behavioral analytics, including out-of-bed, out-of-room, exit-without-return, and overstay tracking to proactively mitigate accidents. Built with an integrated microphone and speaker, the device triggers immediate audio exception alarms when screams are detected, allowing staff to communicate instantly with patients. Operating seamlessly in environments from -20°C to 50°C, it uses non-invasive Vanadium Oxide uncooled thermal technology to provide round-the-clock safety monitoring while fully protecting personal privacy.
