The DS-K1102AEM is a specialized dual-frequency model within Hikvision’s Pro reader series, engineered to provide high-speed hybrid credential validation at physical entry points. Available in two distinct hardware variations—the DS-K1102AEM which operates as a sleek reader without a physical keypad, and the DS-K1102AEMK which incorporates an integrated mechanical keyboard for PIN code entry—the series features a dust-proof and water-resistant IP64-rated housing and an integrated 32-bit high-speed processor that instantly decodes credentials within a 50 mm range. By combining dual internal antennas, it natively reads both low-frequency 125 KHz EM proximity cards and high-frequency 13.56 MHz MIFARE (M1) smart cards, allowing facilities to seamlessly transition legacy access systems to modern smart cards without replacing credentials all at once [1102A].
