DS-K2M004X - Access Control

The Hikvision DS-K2M004X is a rail-mounted, MCU-powered 2-door access expansion module designed to extend the door capacity of a master access controller via a dedicated RS-485 network. Running fully on the master controller's Web interface and logic, this downstream module features physical connections for two locks, two exit buttons, two door contacts, four alarm inputs, and two alarm outputs, alongside complete battery charging circuits and six LED hardware status indicators. It bridges field hardware by supporting up to four RS-485 OSDP card readers and two Wiegand card readers, allowing the master controller to seamlessly enforce enterprise policies like multi-factor authentication, first-person-in rules, and multi-door interlocking across 32 groups of up to 32 doors each.
