Description
The Hikvision DS-K2708X is an enterprise-grade 8-door access control assembly formed by combining a 4-door master controller with two pre-integrated DS-K2M002X access modules, all managed software-free via a standalone Web browser interface. Engineered for dense, localized door deployment, the master controller utilizes a redundant 5-channel downlink RS-485 bus with dual-bus loop isolation to maintain rock-solid communication, while the attached access modules provide an expansive 8-channel RS-485 interface dedicated to card reader connectivity. The system natively enforces complex, high-security operational logic like multi-door interlocking and anti-passback rules, while ensuring continuous field uptime through an integrated battery backup charging circuit and visual LED diagnostic indicators.
